Current Volunteering Opportunities:
Team Managers
South Ashford Football Club is seeking dedicated team managers to run team training sessions, manage match day duties, and assist with events and administration for their allocated teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a community-driven club and make a positive impact on our players.
Currently, Vacant Positions:
Under 7’s
RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist players on their journey in both football and life. Helping them for their needs and give them the best opportunities to progress.
To provide high quality training sessions, focusing on their development.
Ensure communication between the club, parents/guardians, players and other managers are to a professional degree.
MANDATORY
Maintain a valid CRC/DBS, Safeguarding and Protecting Children & Basic First Aid in Sport.
Ensure the safety of players/children under your care.
Ensure your commitment to once a week training sessions & Match day weekends.
Commit yourself to developing players into footballers and maintain a developmental mindset, which follows the club philosophy.
DESIRED
Hold or be working towards a FA Level 1 in Football Coaching.
Experience in coaching to some degree.
Football Coaches
We are also looking for passionate football coaches to assist with team training and match day duties. Additionally, coaches will help the club with events. This role is perfect for those who love football and want to contribute to the development of our players.

NXTGEN Girls
NXTGEN Future Starz (Under 6s)
RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist players on their journey in both football and life. Helping them for their needs and give them the best opportunities to progress.

Committee Members
We are also looking for committee members to assist with club admin and help sustain the club’s legacy and uphold the club ethos and policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist the club, members, and teams with administration of club dealings.
Focus on maintaining the club’s image and reputation.
Find new and intuitive ways to make the club stand out.
Cooperate with other committee members and maintain a sense of community.
MANDATORY
Maintain a valid CRC/DBS or equivalent for committee members.
Ensure the wellbeing of players/children and staff while within club hours.
Ensure your commitment to monthly committee meetings and show enthusiasm when attending.
Commit yourself to the club philosophy and constitution.

Have experience within the desired role
Any qualifications that may assist in your role.
